About IZF
Our Story
Islamic Zakaat Fund is a registered charitable organisation established to provide bursaries and scholarships to needy Malawian youth so they can become self-reliant and contribute to their communities and the nation.
We collect Zakaat and general donations and channel these funds towards helping students achieve their goals. For a student in need, the cost of education can be a barrier to further study. Together, we help make their ambitions possible.
Our Mission
Put in place an efficient mechanism for the collection of Zakaat and its distribution towards educational advancement for less privileged students, improving their welfare with a view to converting Zakaat recipients into Zakaat payers.
Our Objectives
Our objectives are rooted in the belief that education and charity are powerful tools for transforming lives and communities.

Relief
Our relief programmes support vulnerable communities by providing essential resources like food, shelter, and healthcare during times of crisis.
Building Masjids
We support the construction and maintenance of masjids, ensuring communities have a place for worship, education, and gathering.
